Before You Dig

Where a site's earthworks footprint contains live services, we arrange the disconnection or isolation before excavation begins, and physically verify cables dead rather than relying on plans alone. For sites being cleared entirely, a full demolition disconnection or supply abolishment removes the service from the ground and off the records.

When a Cable Gets Hit

Struck cables happen, even on well-planned jobs. We respond as an emergency Level 2 to make the damage safe, liaise with the network on repairs, and get the affected supply — yours or a neighbour's — restored so the incident doesn't shut the job down longer than it has to. Where network assets clash with your design — a pillar in a proposed crossover, a private pole inside the works zone, or a point of attachment on a structure being altered — we complete the Level 2 works and distributor applications to move or remove them. We'll tell you early which items carry network lead times so they land in your program, not on your critical path.
