Workshops place heavy demands on power. We design circuits around your machinery, size cable correctly, add RCD protection and, where equipment requires it, install three-phase outlets to AS/NZS 3000.

Circuits That Handle Your Tools

Table saws, compressors, welders, dust extractors and lathes draw heavy startup and running currents. Running them all off a couple of shared outlets leads to tripping and overheating. We install dedicated appliance circuits sized to each machine, plus general GPOs along the walls and benches.

For flexibility, we position outlets at working height and add weatherproof points in dusty or wash-down areas.

Three-Phase and Supply

Larger machinery often needs three-phase power. We install three-phase outlets rated to suit, typically 20A or 32A sockets, and make sure the switchboard and supply can carry the demand.

Bringing three-phase to a workshop, or increasing capacity, is network supply-side work that legally requires a Level 2 ASP. SPG is authorised across Ausgrid, Endeavour Energy and Essential Energy, so we can handle the supply upgrade and switchboard upgrade end to end.
