Fitting Out or Splitting a Tenancy

When a floor is split into two suites, or a large shop becomes three, each new tenancy needs its own metered supply before the leases can work. We design the metering change, complete the metering alterations and panel works, and coordinate the retailer meters for each new tenancy — including smart meters throughout. Ageing Meter Rooms & Defects

Older Sydney unit blocks often carry meter rooms with asbestos-era panels, obsolete fusing and no spare capacity — issues that surface as defect notices or blocked EV-charging and solar projects. We upgrade meter rooms progressively so tenants stay on supply during the works, replacing panels, service protection devices and metering in stages agreed with the strata committee and, where needed, upgrading the consumer mains feeding the building.

CT Metering for Larger Loads

Tenancies drawing beyond whole-current metering limits — supermarkets, gyms, restaurants, industrial units — require current-transformer metering. We install and alter CT metering to network standards, including the metering enclosures, test links and CT chambers the distributor requires, and manage the inspection process so the tenancy is energised without compliance re-work.
